Well what can i say about this film it is a sequel from the 1982 film Tron which was disneys first human ,computer generated film that set the wheel into motion for other films like that in the future.with Jeff Bridges reprising his roles as Kevin Flynn and CLU, while Bruce Boxleitner reprises his roles as Alan Bradley and Tron. Garrett Hedlund portrays Flynn's adult son, Sam . the story is that Sam is visited by his fathers life long friend , Alan bradley , he is given the instructions to go to his dads old arcade where he was last seen several years ago , ive just noticed im no good at film reviews so im sorry if this sucks anyways back to the film. so he goes there and pulls back to the arcade and looks aabout but finds nothing until he sees the tron game he used to play with his dad , he pulls it back after seeing the groves on the floor leading to his dads old workplace he activates the laser and gets dragged into the grid , he then gets captured and sent to the games where he is given his battle suit and disc which records everything does. when he is in the games he defeats all of of his enemies until he is put against rinzler (who is secretly Tron ) he is then discovered not to be a programme but really a user , the master of the grid CLU comes down from watching the games to sort out Sam personally , sam works together with the other programmes until all that is left is him and CLU . he is about to be destroyed by CLU when Qurroa interveens and takes him away from the main part of the grid to a big house in the surrounding mountains where he comes face to face with his long lost father PLAYED BY JEFF BRIDGES!! after a tence dinner where his father explains why he was stuck in the grid, Sam runs back to the portal before it closes. so he goes to the End Of The Line Club where he meets Castor plated by Michael Sheen, reveals himself to be Zuse and – instead of helping Sam – betrays him to CLU's guards. Though Flynn and Quorra arrive just in time to help Sam escape, Quorra is seriously injured and Zuse gains possession of Flynn's identity disc. Knowing the disc works as a master key to The Grid, Zuse attempts to use it to bargain with CLU, but CLU simply takes it and destroys the club.
Quorra, Sam and kevin Flynn stow away on a solar sailer where they end up on a battle ship where CLU is preparing his army for when they reach the portal and clense Sams world , Sam manages to retrieve his dads disc and rescue Quorra the three of them commander a ship and go off to the portal with CLU , Rinzler and some soldiers following them , sam takes the turrent and destroys everyone but Clu and Rinzler , at the last moment Rinzler remembers who he is and stops Clu sacrificing himself , however Clu takes Rinzlers ( now back to Tron) spare ship and gets to the portal before them.
Kevin and Clu have a final confrontation where he obsorbs clu , destroying himself and Clus ship so that sam can get away with Quorra .
the film ends as sam is back in the real world where he tells alan he is taking over ENCOM and leaves with Quorra on his motorbike.
I liked this film plain and simple it had the same spark that the first did but with the tecnology they have now its just amazing , the plot was thick and easy to follow, the directors and the writers made sure that the film easily followed from the first film .
i have two scenes where it showed how good the acting was , is the scene where Clu played by kevin bridges is giving a speech to his army as sam and kevin flynne watch .
